Zoomers, I need help with Bitcoin

Yes, in the past it wasn't too difficult to 'mine' Monero, but nowdays I suspect most Monero is acquired by exchanging BTC for XMR.

I see some recent items about FinCEN wanting to change the rule to require reporting of all cryptocurrency transactions over $250.
Luckily for now this is just for centralized corporations that hold others’ crypto like exchanges or banks. But yes, they’re coming and the fight for financial privacy and freedom from the central bank inflation / tax game will heat up.

monero, along with some other privacy cryptos is being banned lately on major exchanges in Australia. i'll find the links and post them.
also, the eu is scheduled to vote on a proposition by the european commission next year to adopt crypto based on ledger technology and not on blockchain technology. which is stupid - blockchains are an integral part of distributed ledgers, but i think they are talking about one specific ledger. digital jew money are coming and you WILL use them or else.

fun reading

LEDGER focus in 5 sectors plus one open vertical for disruptive projects in other areas: Health, Finance, Collaborative Economy, Public Services, Energy and Disruptive projects
now, what the fuck are disruptive projects?

Lol. For them disruptive projects are projects with some innovation that preserve rather than disrupt their control of the global monetary system.

It's up over $18k US today. If you've got 'em, keep sitting on 'em. It's only going to increase as the global economy crashes.

People were saying this in December 2017, what actually happened was that Bitcoin lost a huge amount of its value. Do you have any evidence for this? I'd be cautious about advising people to put a significant amount of money into Crypto, especially in the current climate.

Then again, the value of money is probably going to drop quite a bit, so not wise keeping it in that either.

I have most of my savings in global tracker funds

I love how well Bitcoin is doing. Just for fun, I traded a bit for Monero. It's not complicated to use at all, and their GUI wallet is a hell of a lot better and intuitive than Electrum.

BTW, do the people who sent in Bitcoin donations in the past really need to be concerned about their transactions being potentially traced? Like, on a scale of "zero" to "oh shit", what is the real level of concern here?

Bitcoin transactions are public. However, identifying DS donors would require:
  1. Sufficient collective IQ to understand how donations are being done.
  2. Sufficient manpower to go through the transaction records.
  3. Acquiring and serving warrants to all bitcoin exchanges involved.
Basically, I would say that this is not going to happen in the current situation. The kikes are trying to keep the Daily Stormer out of all news media; they absolutely would not risk making waves by sending glowniggers after individuals with plausible deniability. The exchanges themselves aren't going to do more than maintain their blacklists, which have no effect on personal Electrum/Mycelium/whatever wallets.
In a hypothetical future where there are news headlines like "The Government Is Sending Agents To Arrest Your Neighbors, And That's A Good Thing", your financial information being tied to a wallet that sent bitcoin to a wallet that sent bitcoin to the Daily Stormer could get you targeted, but frankly I'd assume that everyone here is already on multiple lists, so whatever.

sending btc, zero. if you route your btc wallet through tor, subzero.
sending monero, neptune-levels subzero.
of course, you never donate from your exchange account.

try MyMonero:

they even have a web browser based wallet: https://wallet.mymonero.com/

be sure to save the seed of words that you generate. you'll need that to get back into the wallet.

Why was the bitcoin address removed from the site?
from the site:

Our wallet addresses:
BITCOIN DONATIONS TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN AWAITING ELECTION RESULTS – WE ARE WORKING ON EXTREME PRIVACY OPTIONS.

MONERO IS ALREADY AN EXTREME PRIVACY OPTION.

Monero:
4BHE9T5HUqbRzsAaq5grGq31G3JevBD1RBNbRdWQLg8ESYugNNyyAnt2JL9ZuWA1w72g4LPr25rSHjQJS6MwANT3MMJFA16

It is more difficult to get and use Monero than Bitcoin, so we don’t necessarily recommend it over Bitcoin by default. However, if you feel comfortable with cryptocurrencies in general and have used altcoins before know that using Monero will best maintain your privacy.

NOTE: Please do not ask about other ways to donate. There are no other ways to donate, and contacting with suggestions you came up with simply wastes our time and yours, and makes us sad and angry. If you don’t have time to do crypto (or to get someone to help you), then you cannot support the site. That is simply the situation.

Can we still send to the old address?

i don't know, just posting what Anglin has put on the site. "extreme privacy options" is self-explanatory.

The election doesn’t really have anything to do with increasing privacy...
it has a lot to do with future repercussions caused by insufficient privacy.

Most likely yes. Funds will accrue to that BTC address. If AA lost access to the wallet (or seed words) he'd probably let us know. Perhaps AA is being pro-active in encouraging us to get familiar with using Monero (XMR). FINCEN is trying to outlaw 'private' crypto transactions.
Thanks, wanted to send a Christmas bunch, sent a few weeks ago, hadn't noticed any change.

I have the Exodus wallet, it's very easy to change to monero, I know this because, even I managed it.
For people who are still very new to this, the Exodus wallet is very simple for changing to monero.

Are you saying your transaction isn't found on the blockchain? ex: if you check at BitRef, your donation doesn't show?
Nah, I'm way too lazy for that, I trust God and the Bitcoin info Andrew posted.
I meant, hadn't noticed that the address had been temporarily taken down from DS.

I don't think It's possible for the BC not to go to the address given.

@Andrew Anglin, sorry, one day late. The monero should arrive to you in about 10-15 minutes.
