Would a 3 day water fast save a lot of people. I know, the average age is 80 and it hits people with compromised immune systems like the obese and homosexualists.

Some people are too fixated on food.
I do fast every once in a while, but I also don't just eat because it's mealtime if I'm not hungry, and I eat slowly and stop as soon as I feel satisfied.
If I've been doing a lot of physical stuff I eat more. Or if it's something really delicious I may even pig out a little😏. On these occasions some may comment that I'm so lucky because I don't gain extra pounds. Thinking that I always eat that amount everyday at every mealtime, even when I tell them otherwise.

The general thinking is, fasting is useful against bacterial infections, useless against viruses.

The 3 day/72h fast (I'd do 100 just in case) IIRC actually weakens your immune system in the short term by killing weak cells, but strengthens it in the long-term because it builds it back up stronger once you refeed with proper nutrients.

Nutrient rich keto/carnivore combined with 2MAD IF solves 90% of health problems

I'm a fat cunt so I'm trying to fast regardless, trying a 72 and a 48 each week. Cole Robinson has some good info, but he also believes you should gulp down your own piss so idk.
Good luck! Key is to not end up compensating by eating like an idiot when you are done. Not just in terms of what you eat when you finish, but the amount. There is actually some pretty decent eating habit advice in the archives. Search diet or eating and you should find it

I usually do two 40 hour fasts a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Now when I'm working from home this gets slightly boring and this week I've been doing 24h intermittent fasting instead, drinking water and coffee. Ain't no way I'm skipping the coffee...
