Just a simple poll and the sequel to a previous religion poll.
For those wondering what Arian means, it's a non-trinitarian sect of Christianity, and it is pronounced Ah-ree-an-ism. Not to be confused with Aryanism (Eh-ree-an-ism)

Protestant. Yet I do study and have lots of respect for all form of Christianity. One of the things I despise most in church is when preachers call out other sects as being β€œwrong and immoral.”
Went to a few Orthodox services at the last place I lived, and it was very intriguing.

I'm part of an ancient Christian society that predates Catholicism so it can't properly be called Protestant.

Yeah I'm with that too.

I also reject the label "Protestant" because, of all the things I'm protesting, the Catholic church isn't even on the top 100 list.

Yeah I already chose and I'm happy with that choice.

I'm glad no one chose Judeo-Christian.
But it will likely be chosen in the future. Probably by a jewish converso. I mean, someone put Lucifer as their god in the @Jim Hansen Poll.

Early Christianity is a deceptive option because most denominations identify as early Christianity.
Actually, Arianism is the oldest of these sects. Even Catholicism is a 4th century denomination whose founders include Constantinus Magnus, and Saint Nicholas (better known as Santa Claus) when they were trying to root out heresies. Even then Arianism is of the 3rd century at earliest.

I was raised Presbyterian. The based church in which I grew up has withdrawn from the mainline Presby denomination and aligned with some more traditional southern sect, but I live too far to go there anymore. I am seriously considering Catholic confirmation because my husband is Catholic.

Raised Catholic, now Millerite Advent Christian. Would go Shepherd's Rod if they weren't all murdered / imprisoned by the feds.

99% of Protestant denominations have been in bed with the Catholic church anyway on key ideology except for Advents (SDA, COG7). The Cathlic church has been mocking Protestants for this since the late 1800s.

Uh, you didn't understand the point, that is that different denominations have a different view of what is factual in the history of the church.

I knew that, but I was just stating that none of the denominations I listed are from before the 3rd century.

I was raised all my life in a Protestant setting, yet I have a growing interest in the Orthodox Church. Coincidentally, it began just as news reports of a "new and totally-not-flu-like super D O O M virus" began appearing in late January. Unfortunately, there are no Orthodox parishes anywhere near where I live, so the only way I can experience the Divine Liturgy is through live-streams.

I have no doubt that in the next few years/decades there will be a massive change in the amount of people who openly profess their faith in Jesus Christ, and most churches may be forced to close or go into hiding under the increasingly Anti-Christian world government that has been allowed to form - in part, not entirely - due to the very same divisions and schisms that prevented modern-day Christians from uniting and swatting it back down to Hell. Christ will not allow the Church to be entirely wiped out, and there will still be locations where the faithful can congregate and worship the Lord as one body and one mind. Do not fear physical repercussions for going to Church or worshiping the Lord, nor even to give your life for your brethren; for where we go there is only the loving embrace of our God in Heaven.

I'm going to get flak for this... Well, let's go:

While Christianity as given us a solid moral framework (which I appreciate) to live by, it has also been responsible for mass immigration, communism and globalism... and, in a way, responsible for the current state of affairs:
- don't hurt your fellow man,
- everyone is your brother,
- treat everyone nicely even if they're camping in your own front yard lawn,
- if someone slaps you, give them the other cheek,
- etc, etc

This is not compatible with the current world. It was never compatible with the natural order of things. It was meant to turn us from animals into civilized beings. But then you get people abusing your moral framework. How to react? Go back to primate?

In a way, this is the current dilemma that people just don't get.
