Trust me, it hasn’t been in use for generations. To my knowledge MAYBE it was used a long time ago in France, but it’s still used by old people in Quebec.

Sounds similar to saying, "God damn!" in English.

Ahahaha...this is never used in France. It's very old, and only really used in French Canada. But I love how the Anglos use it to make fun of the frogs.
Then what do French people say?

Stryker seems to have bought one of Heimbach's wignat crew bomber jackets....

Wait? What? That´s Striker? I never heard this guys name before Joseph Jordan, and I never saw Strikers face.

But yes, not exactly a smart fashion choice. The other suit and tie guys come across more serious.

These twenty old Boomer generals better not make a move unless they know they have broad based support. There has to be support in the current military and its ranks, as well as police, and among the people in a majority of districts. I think it could be pulled off if Macron was tazed and then bound with duct tape so he couldn't call upon the Muhammadans to Halimi and behead through Jihad all those who oppose GloboHomo.
God speed to this crusade to restore the dignity and Glory of France!

The usage is really the same yes.
Then what do French people say?
In the category of naming God ?
Not much anymore.
There’s « nom de Dieu ! »
Otherwise it’s all very very old fashioned like:
« Diable ! » « Ciel ! » « nom d’un chien ! »
but they’re all very archaic.
They really just say « bordel ! » and « putain ! » today.
