A pattern I've seen is that topic-relevant threads just suddenly lose all engagement. For instance, in both the Black Riot Megathread and the Neo-Nazi Record Keeping thread people starting posting dozens (hundreds?) of relevant replies in other/new threads. Then when I'd try to resurrect the proper thread, I'd get virtually no response or engagement. So I also move to the new (and probably unnecessary) thread.

Maybe create a "Megathread" category on the homepage?

I totally agree. Actually I report several threads per day for being low effort garbage.

After being fed up with threads that contain no more than an embedded YouTube link I created a thread specifically for lazily depositing video links, which of course no one has used. Everyone is still just posting lamestream YT videos as a single thread, shitting up the forum.

1. Things like the "what did Antifa/chop etc do now" thread or "black riots megathread" could be up at the front. Maybe at some point when they are no longer big items they can be unpinned.

2.things that help the DS site, ie AA's "article recommendations" thread ( of newsworthy or finished things he could post on DS) could be pinned, too. Saw some people already who didn't even know the thread existed because it quickly got buried after just one day.. This is an important thread Bc it makes AA's research less tedious.

3. In the name of consolidation, perhaps a general "campaign or activism ideas" subsection would be useful. Otherwise, these get buried quickly, even if their relevance continues. They should be on the OG Crib section of the site so we don't have to bother Q with "oh snap! it's not good that googling people see this strategy rn, pls be the housekeeper and put it over at OG!" And, the issue of leaked shit also would never come up if there is such a place for activism campaign ideas which is for vetted - at least as best as we can do it - eyes.

4. We used to have an autistic grammar Nazi place for all users to report errors in articles. I think presentation is important and associated with authority and professionalism, plus it's a small way for people to help and earn points that could help them gradually move towards posting privilege upgrade while demonstrating their sincerity. Also it would help save AA time, like having his professional proofreader on hand, and meanwhile prevent such advice from getting buried in the comments section for the article in question. Chances are, AA does not have the time to dig and sort for that stuff.

5. "prehistory and anthropology news and research" would also be a useful mass information thread.

6. another thing to possibly pin: bible study. Could include the daily bible verse thread or the pro-white bible verse threads.

Thanks, I understand that people are busy and may not be motivated to read through all books. So the extraction of the essence of a book in a considerably shorter post, may be helpful. I guess the search function is the best tool to retrieve useful information.

But if you make a forum section of book reviews I will be happy to oblige whenever I have the time. It may even have a sticky thread with review requests and motivation as to why it is interesting to review it if the title doesn't give a clue...

It's my favorite thread on here, and you can tell why when you compare it to "Lol, why dose this user have a top hat icon and not me!?!1?" threads that are ultimately frivolous and benign in nature. You have the ENTIRE ZOG INTERNET to chat about benign stuff and zog still will not care enough (yet) to silence you for it.

Yeah I've been thinking for quite a while now that this forum would definitely gain from a book reviews section of some kind. I've got some experience in doing this myself, and I've got tons of books that I'd like to review, but the problem is just not enough time on my part obviously.

Thank you for your well researched content that you share with us here Coltraine. I am somewhat of a fan of what you write and I hold your thread "Jews and the New World Order" up as an example of the type of content our members here should strive to make, in the interests of education and keeping everyone here and outside the Stormer up to speed on the jewish threat. This information is difficult to come by, let alone with sources, since the (((usual suspects))) want it suppressed as much as they can. I treasure such information as a valuable commodity, since it lays our enemies and their intentions bare for all to see. We must take care that this information is preserved and spread as much as we can, because when enough goyim know, we will win.

We have to make sure that our information is truthful and verifiable, because the burden of proof lies on us to prove that the jewish NWO conspiracy exists and is indeed a threat. Our enemies will pounce on any slip up we make by us accidentally pushing false quotes or data, to discredit all of our efforts to expose them. We all know how much the juden LOVE to poison the well of truth by pushing their own lies among it.

The first rule: if you have a post to make, try to put it in an existing thread rather than start a new one. So eventually we have long threads that read like books on given subjects that are posted about here a lot. Media hoaxes, nigger riotousness, women being women. Make it so that when you post an article on a given subject, the maximum number of people are going to see it, because it is in a thread for people who are actually interested in reading about that issue.

So you want to turn this place into alternatehistory.com? That's what I hated most about that place, aside from the hyper-liberal moderation, was that everything was herded into general threads that became a pain in the ass to wade through. That's what I like about 4Chan is that it's easy to jump into a debate that I might have missed out on earlier and why general threads are one of the worst cancers killing it.

Books are not the only thing I have reviewed in the past. Back in the old forums I wrote a longer piece on how political correctness have made influences in modern media. I wrote it in a spirit similar to the old third Reich documentary named "Der Ewige Jude" (The Eternal Jew) and analyzed modern computer games such as Witcher 3 and Mass Effect: Andromeda. I also wrote about societal influences in general mentioning "Hipster culture" and "post-materialism".

I wrote it because I felt it had to be written as I think it would be beneficial with a higher awareness of how people are influenced by the media and not merely the matter of fact.

Agreed. My problem is basically that when I do have free time, I'd rather spend it actually reading a book myself rather than doing a book review for something I've already read. But I'm going to try to work in something eventually in the future where maybe I just summarize the book as I am reading it in real-time rather than waiting until the whole thing is finished. I think this will help with my problem and at least get this book review ball rolling. Because I do think it would be a good forum feature.

Then you might want to consider adding another rule, which is outright banning consecutive shitposts. Nothing derails a thread more than having half a dozen shitposts made by the same retard within the timespan of 5 minutes underneath every other well thought out reply which ultimately gets buried because of it. All because retards want to increase their post counts or upboats enough to get some kind of special rapist badge or what exactly, I never understood.

Threads are hit or miss I have posted ones that get no response hoping I could start a discussion. And ones that take off that I am not that interested in. Funny andrew anglin renamed one and made it a general discussion because the topic was important. All it was was me asking for resources to help my brother do research on communism.

That is why I am against too many rules. I do see his point on low effort shit posts. But to be honest there is so much good content coming through they get weeded down fast.
