We will endeavor to highlight the coming technocracy revolution that's upon us in this thread..

sustainable development schemes that take away your 4th amendment rights, un-elected boards telling you howto use your land.

marketing aimed at your future state of being

smart cities

smart cars, smart appliances, AI interface with humans.

vaccination programs.

the internet of things and 5g

social credit scoring systems.

today I bring you some marketing for a samsung product line of smart appliances.

the teenage kid is mixed breed, is reading an older 1950s text on "how to create a great household" and grimacing at how outdated backwards this is?

flash to adult in kitchen, its a red headed "dad" figure he fiddle fucks with the newest samsung gadget appliances and presto chango "dad" made dinner, mud kids runs off screen dad looks super satisfied he was capable in this 21st century of doing menial labor of cooking for family.

samsung smart kitchen

the ad tells me there is no mom, dad adopted a mud kid? moms at work? while dads stay at home job lets him be a housefrau? my appliances will tell me how to cook with what ingredients and most likely report all the data back to the giant brain in the amazon cloud to asses if im worthy of the energy expense of loaded fries again next week, plus restocking my food supplies automatically next time I ask aleksa to order groceries.

the muds and negros in mixed families have been in adverts a long time, the ad agencies are stocked full on with social justice change artists, the mind is a terrible thing to waste, and the electronic jew will not allow your mind to be wasted, the small incremental programming allows them to capture your citadel one idea at a time, slowly over time....before you know it you married a negro and you are home washing dishes in a brand new samsung dishwasher!

The ads are cancer, as is the spyware-enabled tech, but I don't think Samsung cares about niggers one way or another. The gooks don't share our weird cultural obsession with not appearing racist. They just know that stuff plays well with White shitlibs, and that's who the ads are meant for. If Samsung could sell fancy dishwashers by showing excerpts of Triumph of the Will interspersed with CGI imagery of kikes being gassed they'd do that.

The long awaited revolution in battery technology.

John B. Goodenough (age 98) is the inventor of RAM (Random Access Memory) and the lithium ion battery. Currently he is putting the final touches on his latest masterpiece, the glass battery. The electrolyte is a highly conductive glass formed from lithium hydroxide and lithium chloride and doped with barium, based battery.

Goodenough and his team stated..
they expect the battery to have an energy density many times higher than current lithium-ion batteries, as well as an operating temperature range down to โˆ’20 ยฐC (โˆ’4 ยฐF); much lower than current solid-state batteries.[1][4][3][7]The electrolyte is also stated to have a wide electrochemical window.[18] The battery's design is safer than lithium-ion batteries, as the use of a flammable liquid electrolyte is avoided.[2][3] The battery can also be made using low-cost sodium instead of lithium.[2]

The authors claim the battery has a much shorter charging time than Li-ion batteriesโ€”in minutes rather than hours. The authors also state they tested the stability of the alkali metal/electrolyte interface over 1,200 charge cycles with low cell resistance;[1] the specification for Li-ion batteries is usually less than a thousand.[19][20]

The gooks don't share our weird cultural obsession with not appearing racist.

smartthings is a subsidiary of samsung electronics;

SmartThings was conceived by co-founder and CEO Alex Hawkinson in the winter of 2011 when his family's mountain house in Colorado was extensively damaged after a power outage caused the house's pipes to freeze and burst.[2][3][4][5] When power was restored, water flowed through the unoccupied house causing approximately $80,000 in damages.[6] Hawkinson noted that he could have prevented the damages if he had known what was happening inside the house.[6] After failing to find a suitable solution to the problem, Hawkinson and co-founders began to build a SmartThings working prototype.[6][7]

In September 2012 SmartThings secured $1.2 million through a Kickstarter campaign.[8][2] The company won the Spark of Genius startup competition at the Dublin Web Summit with a prize of โ‚ฌ100,000 in October 2012.[9] It then raised a $3 million seed funding round in December 2012.[10][11]

SmartThings began selling its products commercially in August 2013 on its own Web site and in September 2013 on Amazon.com.[12] Consumer internet executive and former Etsy CEO, Maria Thomas, joined the founders in early 2013 as Chief Consumer Officer.[13]

In November 2013 SmartThings raised $12.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Greylock Partners and Highland Capital Partners.[14][7][15]

In January 2014 at the International CES show, the company rented a house near downtown Las Vegas to demonstrate how devices can be integrated with SmartThings' services.[16] The demo also served to present SmartThings Labs, which allows users to access early-stage device integrations.[16][17] The connected house featured products from partners like Philips Hue, Belkin Wemo, and Sonos.[18] For one demonstration, a Jawbone UP24 triggered a morning wake-up routine that turned on kitchen lights, began brewing coffee, and tuned a Sonos Play1 to NPR News.[18][19]

In August 2014 SmartThings and Direct Energy, a Canadian and American energy provider, announced a partnership meant to increase the number of Canadian and American homes hooked up to smart technology. The smart technology offered basic energy management, home automation, and home security. The Direct Energy/SmartThings plan came with a fixed-term energy plan and a free SmartThings starter kit that included a hub and sensors.[20]

In August 2014, SmartThings announced that they had reached an agreement to be acquired by Samsung Electronics and would operate as an independent company within Samsung's Open Innovation Center.[21] The acquisition was seen[by whom?] as a move by Samsung to move into the internet of things space.[22]

SmartThings' primary products include a free SmartThings app,[23] a SmartThings Hub,[23][24] as well as various sensors and smart devices.[17][23][25]

The SmartThings native mobile application allows users to control, automate, and monitor their home environment via mobile device. The application is configured to fit each user's needs.[23][24][24][26] The app's SmartSetup area, accessible from the app's dashboard, facilitates the process of adding new devices.[27] Customers can use the app to connect multiple devices at once or follow a dedicated path to configure one device at a time.[27]

The hub connects directly to a home's internet router and is compatible with communication protocols such as ZigBee, Z-Wave, and IP-accessible devices.[23][24][25] It serves to connect sensors and devices to one another and to the cloud, allowing them to communicate with the SmartThings native app.[23]

SmartThings is integrated with IFTTT ("if this then that"), which enables users to trigger events when certain things happen on different web applications.[28] For example, an IFTTT applet might state that if I leave my house, then SmartThings will lock my door.[

the connectivity will be used in the sustainable development model- are you using the correct energy resources for your station? have you earned your energy use? are you properly documented to be allowed to turn the lights on at 2;00 am in your kitchen?

the apps are all used as surveillance gadgets as we have seen during plandemic, states are allowed cell phone tracking data to monitor the social distancing.

plandemic is yuge part of the tsunami of agenda 2030.

more cameras, more facial recognition, more tracking, bigger data gets even bigger.

no gas powered cars sold in CA by 2035? data powered cars and borrowed cars, you rent or uber your way around. or you stay put mister!

Ban Ki-moon (Korean: ๋ฐ˜๊ธฐ๋ฌธ; Hanja: ๆฝ˜ๅŸบๆ–‡; Korean pronunciation: [pan.ษกi.mun]; born 13 June 1944) is a South Korean politician and diplomat who served as the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations from January 2007 to December 2016. Before becoming the Secretary-General, Ban was a career diplomat in South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the United Nations. He entered diplomatic service the year he graduated from university, accepting his first post in New Delhi, India.

I think the problem with smart technology is that no one really needs or wants it. I mean, never once in my life did I ever think, "man, I wish they'd invent a TV that turns itself on, a coffee machine that turns itself on, etc.".. Are people really so lazy that pushing a button on a remote control is just too much work?

Plus, it can be annoying as fuck. My car has some smart stuff. The damned headlights come on all the time. Open the door? Headlights on. Use the key fob? Headlights are on. Turn the key? Headlights are on. And, there is no way you can, like, turn them off. Yeah, I can manually flip the switch, but only after they are already on.

I find today's technological changes banal. We're at a technological plateau - a deliberately engineered one.

I don't think we live in a technocracy in the sense that we are ruled by technology - we are ruled by people that control the design and implementation of technology. This has always been the case but the difference is now that the amount of people who are technologically literate is dwarfed by the people that aren't. This is very obvious between generations (boomers vs millenials) but I still think a lot of young people would fit into the bracket of illiterate given the behavioral changes this 'revolution' has wrought.

If you went back to the 50s, the chances are most of the men you'd meet could perform basic mechanical repairs and had a working understanding of engines, motors, generators etc. This was the Industrial era, before the explosion in electronics. The source of wealth and power was from machines that produced stuff. Mechanics is more accessible to the common man in my opinion, because it develops from basic physical principles we can all see. Stress, torsion, momentum etc. These things are something you will have a grasp on by the time you are a teenager. And so, you had a greater opportunity to participate in the generation of wealth that producing machines were doing.

However understanding electronics, and especially computing, take specialist knowledge which requires you to think about more abstract ideas with less reliance on observation and intuition. To further this abstraction, most output created by electronics and computers isn't material. It's at best experiential - which creates a situation where its value is completely subjective (yes I know, the value of many physically produced items can be subjective too, but ultimately what is worth more, a million tonnes of coal or a million Facebook Ice Bucket challenge posts? I still like to think it's the former, though would like to hear your thoughts๐Ÿ˜œ). At the same time, actual production, which is still required, has been automated or outsourced to 3rd world nations in order to eek as much profit as possible. So you have this situation where the 'buy in cost' to success in a 'digital' society is much higher, while at the same time the output of it is much lower - and so it ends up benefiting an elite group of people who have the ability to understand, develop, implement and exploit this. It's a massive ruse really and the perfect way to keep a population dazzled and doped but totally disenfranchised.

Technocracy may not need massive amounts of people to support a money driven society.

Is the goal of technocracy substantially less than 7.5 billion useless eaters?

If the sustainability model says there are too many people chasing energy resources and tighter controls need to be implemented, are people to be drastically reduced, picking off the whites first?

Using machines and robotics to get rid of the yuge supply of useless eaters after the whites loose all ability to revolt against it.
....?

I don't have the answers or ultimate outcomes pre history.
I'm monitoring the situation along with trump. I'm not going to see 2040 or 2050 earth most likely but grands are and I want to be able to assist in thier preparation.

Not to let an adverse technocracy hit them totally unawares.

A transition from total dystopia life ala catastrophic city scapes might be part of a culling, a yuge die off in transition, 7 months to bury the dead.

I know better than to fall in love with earthly wiles and focus on God's salvation, making my kids prepare for a future with Christ might be best route to success!
Mans world worship will certainly destroy you.
I'm going to keep thinking on it and ask holy spirit for help.

You may not have, but others have long been thinking of automated houses (and cities) going back at least a century. So the idea behind these kinds of "smart houses" is far from new, nor did they originate with Silicon Valley's Big Tech companies. And just as 19th century writer Jules Verne dramatized stories about submarines beneath the sea and spaceships to the Moon long before either existed, 20th century writers did the same with the concept of automated houses, foremost among them Robert A. Heinlein (most famous for "Starship Troopers") as well as others. As case in point, read the first page of Ray Bradbury's famous short story below, written almost three-quarters of a century ago, and ask yourself if it doesn't remind you of the technology so many of us are now familiar with. Ironically, despite having been written so long ago, it takes place just a mere five years from now...

A white paper out Friday declares that "there is hope right beneath our feet" to address the climate crisis as it touts regenerative agriculture as a "win-win-win" solution to tackling runaway carbon emissions.

"Humans broke the planet with grave agricultural malpractice," Tom Newmark, chairman of The Carbon Undergroundand a contributor to the research, said in a statement. "With this white paper, Rodale Institute shows us how regenerative agriculture has the potential to repair that damage and actually reverse some of the threatening impacts of our climate crisis."

Is regenerative ag a part of agenda 21 2030?
Removing monsanto from our food?
A central planner deciding to tell a farmer how to farm and how he can operate his land?

poisoning the land air and water a landowners right?
Or can the greater good step in and mandate you do a differant practice on the worlds landscape?

Because the corporate jewsmedia refuses to do its job and inform humans about how globohomoschlomo has ruined life via chemical farming, and aided the healthcare pharmaceutical industry is exacerbating the situation, we now need the greater good technocrats to step in and squelch a freemarket?

Bought a fancy one, they are awful at their job, but look very pretty (it is now gathering dust in the garage - husband feels too guily to get rid of it, but it is entirely useless. Of course the warranty was not going to get honored!). We went back to a "regular" non-fancy one which does its job. I hate all these new appliances. I dread the day I will have to replace my old top loading Kenmore clothes washer and (non-matching!) dryer.

"In India, they attacked and are still attacking organic and created something called the Zero-Budget Natural Farming โ€ฆ What they're basically doing is giving big loans to the state, which then gives fat loans to the farmer. In the meantime, Gates is mining farm data.
He's getting people placed in the homes of farmers to mine data. Then they'll create algorithms to sell that data back. But all of this is now being reduced to carbon in the soil. You'll get zero % for what you grow. You can get no needs of yours met through food and fodder, but we will allow you to trade in the global market on the carbon in your soil, and that's what would keep you alive. This whole financialization of nature is one aspect.
The second aspect in the great reset is to redo the economy to make it look like those who are now disposable throwaway people deserved it. They created the language of competition.

Gates is big in india. And he is not there to help!

Universal basic income, surge?

โ€œPeople in our community are going through tough times, and I know that guaranteed income could give people a moment to navigate their situation, and have some breathing room to go back to school, explore a new career path, spend time with their children, or improve their mental and emotional well being.โ€

A number of cities across the country are expressing more willingness to consider universal basic income, and the concept was the basis of tech entrepreneur Andrew Yangโ€™s presidential run. The California city of Stockton launched their program last year, and Los Angeles and Long Beach exploring their own pilot programs.

a few more localities are implementing UBI for the down trodden classes in USA. some are using "donated" funds and others like St Paul MN. are attempting to use COV911 federal funds. federal funds I like to call redistributed money of mine.

UBI will indoctrinate a few items of technocracy that I can think of at the moment, Cashless Chits, payments will be by a cash-card I'm sure. using the cash-card will allow the data mining of how the "money" is used.
The data used to even enroll in the plan will be used for probable future expansions of the programs. right now these are being couched in racial justice terms, indicating that somehow ex-prisoners and illegal aliens have been maligned in some manor that needs rectifying.

Some ideas surrounding the great reset and technocracy include a notion that all the earths abundance belongs to the entire population regardless off effort or labors. effort and labors being patriarchal misogynist and racist, these ideas need further destruction.

how these are destroyed will be done rather stealthily and gradually so of course you frog don't notice the hot water.

your labor and efforts will be gradually taken(they already are, greater good and all tha rot) creating further disillusionment among the productive classes, and eventually they will sit down and demand to be let into the unproductive class, since all their gains are eroded.
its easier to live scared of flu and not go to work and a check just shows up.
granted you are living in the POD as AA posits, but you are existing none the less and you are to poor and downtrodden to be racist, misogynist, patriarchal.

the globalists don't really care about bringing you down really, that's almost completed, what really matters to Gates , Bezos, buffet et al is that namibians living in abject poverty because you have a pontoon boat at the cabin, get a hand up for all time, and you sit fookun down and shut it!

Verifying real identity in a remote world
How do you verify real people in the digital world? Onfido helps companies see real identity โ€“ the humans behind the screens โ€“ using world-leading AI and identity experts. Your customers can prove their identities, wherever they are, with just an ID and their face. So youโ€™ll have everything you need to grow your business securely.
Weโ€™re creating a more open world, where identity is the key to access.
Onfido is the new identity standard for the internet. Our AI-based technology assesses whether a userโ€™s government-issued ID is genuine or fraudulent, and then compares it against their facial biometrics. Thatโ€™s how we give companies like Revolut, Zipcar and Bitstamp the assurance they need to onboard customers remotely and securely.

at an arab airport they are using 80 cameras embedded in the walls disguised as aquariums to scan you as you look at the fishies. they are recognizing who you are and should you be there...

PayPal, which was one of the founding members of the Fido Alliance.... yes indeed putting a new leash on Fido!
PayPal exec wants to replace passwords with injectable chips

20 April 2015 not recent, they have advanced, going to use global plandemic reset to implement some leash controls!

People may only just be coming round to the idea of using their fingerprints to authenticate themselves, but a PayPal executive is already looking ahead to a time when we embed and ingest devices that identify us at the point-of-sale.

In a presentation he has given at several conferences, Jonathan LeBlanc, global head of developer advocacy at PayPal, calls on industry to 'Kill All Passwords,' which he says are a broken method of authentication.

This is a view widely shared, including by PayPal, which was one of the founding members of the Fido Alliance, which counts MasterCard, Visa and many banks among its members working on standards for a biometric-based alternative to the password and username.

The most popular form of biometric authentication is the fingerprint, championed by Apple, which uses its Touch ID technology to let customers pay for goods with their iPhones.

However, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, LeBlanc calls this type of external biometrics "antiquated," arguing that it leaves room for false positives and negatives.

In the future, he suggests, we could instead embed silicon chips with ECG sensors under our skin to monitor unique heart activity and communicate the information to "wearable computer tattoos". Another option could be an ingestible capsule that tests unique things such as glucose levels and is powered by stomach acid.

ID2020 and partners launch program to provide digital ID with vaccines

The ID2020 Alliance has launched a new digital identity program at its annual summit in New York, in collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh, vaccine alliance Gavi, and new partners in government, academia, and humanitarian relief.

The program to leverage immunization as an opportunity to establish digital identity was unveiled by ID2020 in partnership with the Bangladesh Governmentโ€™s Access to Information (a2i) Program, the Directorate General of Health Services, and Gavi, according to the announcement.

Digital identity is a computerized record of who a person is, stored in a registry. It is used, in this case, to keep track of who has received vaccination.

โ€œWe are implementing a forward-looking approach to digital identity that gives individuals control over their own personal information, while still building off existing systems and programs,โ€ says Anir Chowdhury, policy advisor at a2i. โ€œThe Government of Bangladesh recognizes that the design of digital identity systems carries far-reaching implications for individualsโ€™ access to services and livelihoods, and we are eager to pioneer this approach.โ€

Gavi CEO Seth Berkley says that 89 percent of children and adolescents who do not have identification live in countries where the organization is active. โ€œWe are enthusiastic about the potential impact of this program not just in Bangladesh, but as something we can replicate across Gavi-eligible countries, providing a viable route to closing the identity gap,โ€ he says.

A partnership was also formed earlier this year between Gavi, NEC, and Simprints to use biometrics to improve vaccine coverage in developing nations.

โ€œDigital ID is being defined and implemented today, and we recognize the importance of swift action to close the identity gap,โ€ comments ID2020 Executive Director Dakota Gruener. โ€œNow is the time for bold commitments to ensure that we respond both quickly and responsibly. We and our ID2020 Alliance partners, both present and future, are committed to rising to this challenge.โ€

ID2020 also announced new partnerships and provided progress reports on initiatives launched last year. Since last yearโ€™s summit, the ID2020 Alliance has been joined by the City of Austin, UC Berkeleyโ€™s CITRIS Policy Lab and Care USA.

The City of Austin, ID2020, and several other partners are working together with homeless people and the service providers who engage with them to develop a blockchain-enabled digital identity platform called MyPass to empower homeless people with their own identity data.

A pair of inaugural pilot programs launched last year in partnership with iRespond and Everest have each made progress, ID2020 says. The iRespond program has improved continuity of care for more than 3,000 refugees receiving treatment for chronic conditions from the International Rescue Committee in Thailand, according to the announcement, while Everest has assisted with the provision of access to critical energy subsidies and a range of additional services with secure and user-centric digital identities without relying on a smartphone.

This post was updated at 4:58pm on March 26, 2020 to clarify that the program is intended to allow people to receive vaccination and prove they have received it, not to track individuals, as claimed by some conspiracy theorists.

its no theory marge! only a weirdo would claim a conspiracy!

but I don't think Samsung cares about niggers one way or another. The gooks don't share our weird cultural obsession with not appearing racist. They just know that stuff plays well with White shitlibs, and that's who the ads are meant for.
I think it's even simpler than that. Samsung USA simply hired a Jewish-run advertising agency to do their American advertising, and this is what they came up with. Why did they hire a Jewish-run advertising agency? Because basically all the advertising agencies in the Anglosphere are run by Jews.

"...They havenโ€™t settled on an official slogan yet. โ€œThe New Normal,โ€ โ€œThe Great Reset,โ€ โ€œThe Green New Dealโ€ โ€ฆ theyโ€™re all just trial balloons at this point. ..."

The Last Days of the Trumpian Reich
C.J. Hopkins โ€ข October 27, 2020

So, according to the corporate media, this is it for Russian-backed Hitler. Game over. The walls are closing in. Itโ€™s the last days of the Trumpian Reich. Get those vuvuzelas ready!

Yes, apparently, the American people, who were all a bunch of Putin-worshipping, white-supremacist neo-Nazis when they elected Trump in 2016, have come to their senses and are going to deliver a landslide victory to โ€œSlappyโ€ Joe Biden and bring down the curtain on this โ€œAge of Darkness,โ€ or save the world from โ€œracial Orwellianismโ€ or the โ€œbottomless pit of facsism,โ€ or whatever.

White supremacy will be defeated and globalization will rise from the ashes! Decency will be restored! Love will trump hate! Black lives will matter!

Slappy and Kamala will immediately fly down and liberate the concentration camps. Trump will face some sort of Nuremberg trial, where he will have to answer for mass-murdering six million people with the Coronavirus by taking off his mask on the White House balcony.

Hillary Clinton will be appointed โ€ฆ something.

Exuberant liberals will pour into the streets, chanting unintelligible slogans through their designer masks and plastic head bubbles. OK, sure, the global economy will be ruined, and millions of people will be unemployed, and homeless, or will have needlessly died, so that GloboCap could simulate an apocalyptic global plague, and foment racialized civil unrest, and just generally create an atmosphere of confusion, depression, and paranoia, but the War on Populism will finally be over โ€ฆ and GloboCap will start to โ€œBuild Back Better!โ€

OK, it wonโ€™t be โ€œbetterโ€ right away. As our friends at the World Economic Forum note:
โ€œThanks to the ongoing pandemic, the world is off-balance โ€“ and it will remain so for years to come. Far from settling into a โ€˜new normalโ€™, we should expect a Covid19 domino effect, triggering further disruptions โ€“ positive as well as negative โ€“ over the decade ahead. The wave of civil unrest that spread across America and beyond recently may be one example โ€ฆโ€
So, all right, maybe not quite the end of the War on Populism, but at least a new stage of it. A chaotic, destructive, violent stage of it, which will require a lot of โ€œemergency measuresโ€ and will end up radically transforming the planet into one big pathologized-totalitarian marketplace.
We conspiracy theorists are calling it The Great Reset โ€ฆ but donโ€™t take it from us, take it from TIME magazine, which just happens to be owned by a guy named Marc Benioff, a World Economic Forum Board of Trustees member, whose net worth is approximately $7.8 billion, and who is deeply concerned about the environment, and inclusivity, and economic fairness, as is everyone at the WEF these days.
Fortunately, just by sheer coincidence, this apocalyptic global plague has provided Marc and his billionaire buddies (who own the majority of the corporate media, and who meet once a year in a remote location guarded by heavily-armed security to discuss our future with major government leaders) with an opportunity to โ€œresetโ€ capitalism and save the planet from โ€ฆ well, themselves.
Thatโ€™s not how they see it, naturally. No, the way they see it, theyโ€™re not the problem. The problem is โ€ฆ well, the problem is people. Not rich and powerful people like themselves, or the people they need to continue working, consuming, and servicing the interest on their loans, but โ€ฆ you know, all those other people. Uneducated, un-woke, working-class people. Gun-toting, fanatically religious people. Racist, conspiracy-theorizing people. Deplorable people. โ€œPopulistโ€ people. People they donโ€™t need anymore.
These people have been a problem recently. Not only are they a drag on the system, they have been actively interfering with it, voting for Brexit, electing Donald Trump, refusing to abandon their traditional values and outmoded ideas (e.g., national sovereignty, freedom of speech, and mammalian biology) and get on board with global capitalist ideology, and have been otherwise being a real pain in the ass.
It was one thing when these problem people were mostly black- and brown-skinned people with โ€œextremistโ€ beliefs in faraway countries that most Western consumers couldnโ€™t care less about, because GloboCap could just bomb the crap out of them, but they canโ€™t really do that here in the West. Hence, the War on Populism that we have been experiencing for the last four years โ€ฆ and whatever new, dystopian stage of it that awaits us in the post-Trump future.
2020 has been a preview of it. The lockdowns, the masks, the โ€œsocial distancing,โ€ and other so-called โ€œemergency measures,โ€ the Orwellian propaganda, the censorship of dissent, the banning of political protests, the corporate media finally transforming into a full-blown Goebbelsian keyboard instrument, the goon squads raiding peopleโ€™s homes, the cult-like, totalitarian conformity โ€ฆ itโ€™s just a taste of whatโ€™s to come.
This was always in the cards, of course. It was just a matter of time until we got here. The folks at GloboCap are no fools. They know they canโ€™t remake the world into one big happy neo-feudal marketplace without breaking a few proverbial eggs โ€ฆ and not just in those โ€œterroristโ€ countries, but everywhere, throughout the global capitalist empire. And that is exactly what they intend to do. So, they needed a new official narrative to justify all the broken eggs.
They havenโ€™t settled on an official slogan yet. โ€œThe New Normal,โ€ โ€œThe Great Reset,โ€ โ€œThe Green New Dealโ€ โ€ฆ theyโ€™re all just trial balloons at this point. It doesnโ€™t really matter what they call it. It amounts to a new type of totalitarianism. As I noted in my previous column, โ€œt isnโ€™t national totalitarianism, because weโ€™re living in a global capitalist empire, which isnโ€™t ruled by nation-states, but rather, by supranational entities and the global capitalist system itself.โ€ But it is totalitarianism nonetheless.
They arenโ€™t hiding it. Theyโ€™re spelling it out, not in spittle-flecked Hitlerian speeches, but, clearly, unmistakably, in corporate-speak. Here is Klaus Schwab, Chairman of the WEF:
โ€œ[T]he world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a โ€˜Great Resetโ€™ of capitalism.โ€

The World Bank Throws Full Weight Behind The Great Reset
The World Bank has published a report that outlines economy-wide actions to facilitate decarbonization and sustainable development as the world recovers from the COVID-19 global pandemic. The report aims to help countries align their development pathways with the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change through long-term strategies that promote climate resilience of food and water systems, energy, transport, and cities, among other sectors.

The report titled, โ€˜World Bank Outlook 2050 Strategic Directions Note: Supporting Countries to Meet Long-Term Goals of Decarbonization,โ€™ highlights the โ€œhuge risksโ€ climate change poses to countriesโ€™ long-term development and growth, with critical implications for poverty, food security, and health. In a foreword, Juergen Voegele, World Bankโ€™s Vice President for Sustainable Development, cautions that all countries, particularly the poorest and most vulnerable, are now facing โ€œthe compound impacts of the twin challengesโ€ of climate change and COVID-19.

The report notes that the ambition reflected in the first round of nationally determined contributions (NDCs) would only limit global warming to 2.7-3.7ยฐC above preindustrial levels. It warns that a continued focus on short- and medium-term targets could make decarbonization more difficult, and calls for long-term strategies to help countries develop sustainably. โ€œBy planning ahead, these strategies can boost new economic activity and innovations, creating the jobs of the future, while also securing a safer climate, especially for the poorest and most vulnerable,โ€ said Mari Pangestu, World Bankโ€™s Managing Director of Development Policy and Partnerships, at the reportโ€™s launch.

The Outlook 2050 recognizes the need for a โ€œbold economic transformationโ€ to realize the vision of the Paris Agreement and make the SDGs โ€œmore achievable,โ€ which includes aligning finance flows with low-emissions, climate-resilient development pathways. It proposes a โ€œwhole-of-economyโ€ approach to decarbonization, which prioritizes four economy-wide strategic directions:

  • Embed long-term climate priorities in countriesโ€™ macroeconomic frameworks;
  • Embed long-term climate planning in national budgets and expenditure frameworks;
  • Embed long-term climate objectives in financial sector regulations and incentives; and
  • Embed long-term climate objectives in systems planning.
The report identifies cross-sectoral opportunities and makes recommendations across eight areas that are essential for achieving the SDGs: 1) transforming food systems; 2) protecting land-based ecosystems and carbon sinks; 3) transforming energy systems; 4) transforming mobility; 5) building low-carbon, more resilient urban areas; 6) transforming water systems; 7) transforming the ocean economy; and 8) digital transformation. The Outlook 2050 finds that investing in cross-sectoral opportunities, including as part of stimulus packages, can aid in a sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
