South Africa: A Glimpse of America’s Future?

Americans should view the current situation there as a warning: The worst may be yet to come.

“Nothing is too big, powerful, nor prosperous that it can’t fall. As warehouses burn and food supplies run out, with no hope of relief, it appears South Africa as it exists today might have reached its last line of defense.”
___________________________

“It can’t happen here.”

That’s likely the reaction many Americans might’ve had to events in the Republic of South Africa. For over a week beginning July 9, the country was wracked by mass rioting, looting, and protests, precipitated by the arrest and sentencing of former president Jacob Zuma after he failed to appear in court. Zuma’s administration, which lasted from 2009 until 2018, was under investigation for charges of corruption.

Though he eventually turned himself in to the police, Zuma’s supporters fiercely protested. Some armed themselves, apparently with the thought of freeing Zuma. When it became clear their president wasn’t going to be released, the unrest exploded into full-blown rioting, encouraged by many activists and figures, including Zuma’s daughters. Within a day, the country was engulfed in what can only be described as a total breakdown of law and order.

Events in South Africa have received little attention in the United States, compared to recent unrest in Cuba and Haiti. But social media accounts, many belonging to residents of South Africa, present a harrowing picture. Shopping malls and businesses of all types have been ransacked, their shelves bare and piles of trash left behind in the wake. Everything, bolted down or not, is fair game, with solar panels, ultrasound machines, livestock, and evenblood banks susceptible to pillage.

Meanwhile, law-abiding citizens held the line. With authorities either nowhere in sight or incapable of dealing with the pandemonium, citizens resorted to using personally owned firearms to ward off rioters, leading to shootings and gunfights. As in America, gun ownership remains a hot topic in South Africa. But, in this instance, it seems having access to arms is the only thing maintaining some form of order and public safety in certain areas.

The robust private security industry in South Africa has also gotten plenty of work and has proven more reliable than the police—many of whom turned out to be looters themselves—in defending life and property. It was three days after the riots started that President Cyril Ramaphosa finally ordered the deployment of the military to assist in restoring order, noting the unprecedented nature of the turmoil. By then, more than enough damage had been done.

While the rioting was most severe in the KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng provinces (home to the country’s largest city, Johannesburg), it risks bringing the entire economy to a standstill, with supply-chain disruptions, plus energy and food shortages induced by the looting and insecurity threatening an even greater calamity. Dozens have been killed, thousands arrested, while property loss and damage amount to more than $1 billion. To cap it off, the rioting comes at a time when South Africa is still trying to get its COVID pandemic under control.

South Africa’s problems are many, but given its history, race always features front-and-center. The country’s history in this arena was never quite reconciled in any fashion, withracial tensions persisting into the 21st century. The white minority has dwindled as a percentage of the population and those who remain have come under increasing fire, mostly from blacks, a story which still would be flying under the radar if not for thereporting of primarily independent journalists. For years, fears of an eventual racial conflict persisted and it’s worth noting the “battlelines” of the apparent war in South Africa today fall roughly along racial lines—whites and Indians defending against mostly black rioters.

It’s an alarming situation for South Africans, sure, but why should Americans care about what’s happening there?
Fortunately, this does not mean the United States will go the way of South Africa, at least not anytime soon. “I don’t think it’ll get that bad here for two or three decades,” said Dustin Mascorro, an analyst at the open-source intelligence company Forward Observer. This assumes no major political realignment takes place and noting the differences between the problems in the United States and South Africa. That said, the possibility certainly exists and it’s quite likely we’ll see a slow-burn decline that’ll send the United States the way ofLatin America—far from collapse, yet dysfunctional.

South Africa seems far away from the United States in distance and time, but given it, too, was once a developed, industrialized country with a distinctly European character, Americans ought to view the current situation as a warning: nothing is too big, powerful, nor prosperous that it can’t fall. As warehouses burn and food supplies run out, with no hope of relief, it appears South Africa as it exists today might have reached its last line of defense. It’s not [yet] the end for America, but if the end can be seen anywhere on the globe, it’s in South Africa.

Trump now says he regrets not stopping the BLM and antifa riots last summer:

Trump said he regrets not 'immediately' sending in the US military to quash nationwide unrest last summer

-- Yahoo news

Of course the media would have immediately excoriated him - media that reported violent looting, fire bombings and rioting as "mostly peaceful."

Trump should have done what Napoleon knew to do to stop the French Revolution:

The French revolution continued… …until 1799, when it was stopped by one of history’s most brutal tyrants, Napoleon Bonaparte. …Bonaparte halted the protests, but not by depending on muskets and bayonets. Into the streets he put warship-caliber cannons, each repeatedly firing 12 pounds of grapeshot into the crowds.

-- Richard Maybury, August 2021 Newsletter, Early Warning Report.

Will we become South Africa? Most certainly as demographics change and the White population is replaced by shit skins from the toilets of the world. ZOG is busy agitating and priming the homies to attack us when they give the word.

It's a blueprint for not only the USA, but any white country with large scale immigration...
I said this on the forums starting about 6 years ago that SA was our future. At the time I didn't know a tenth of what I've learned. Now it's obviously part of the plan. Rhodesia and South Africa were test runs.

I mean, there's no way it can turn out exactly the same. SA is something like 90% Black, the US is 13%. The numbers just aren't there.

There are 3rd world countries with groups of Whites - such as Brazil
Yes. It's sad. I want my bones to rest in my Germany. But, that seems impossible now

1000s of years ago, our ancestors struggled to survive and then to evolve into a civilized productive stable society. Think of it. Someone in your family line way back then was back there in Europe struggling to survive while making a world for us that is now being given away to bolsheviks and shitstains

It seems extreme. But, just as back then, I believe it would have been the right thing to do for the government to crack down on outlaw terrorist city-burning and occupying leftists. It would have been the spark that we need to draw the line in the sand between us and them.

And, to be fair, buffalo horn Jan 6 guy and the guy with his feet up on Pelosi's desk should be held accountable also, but not as severely as being tortured and held indefinately

Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia...none of these countries are over run with niggers/Pakistan, indeed some of them are actively blocking them...
Yes - the only concern is: 1) the Schlomo-Homo influence of the EU over them, and 2) their being a buffer between the EU and Russia. I'd love to live in any of those countries but am worried about the near future there.

Held accountable similar to how they held Antifa and BLM accountable for destroying billions of dollars of property, maiming and killing people, and destroying people's entire livelihoods (never to start again)?

Of course it can - DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) is the same as the BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) program in SA where Blacks were given all the best jobs regardless of their capabilities. Whites are attacked and murdered without impunity in SA - are you telling me that the same is not happening here? It doesn't matter how many there are of us if we are not in power (and aren't willing to fight back which seems to be the case).

The White Christian Russians were the majority - yet they were subjected to terror, torture, and death by the extreme minority (mostly Jewish) Bolsheviks. It's all about who has control of the police, 3-letter agencies, and the military.

Well, this would require a shift in institutional power from White people - all of them - toward Blacks. This isn't a serious proposition. Russia had a totally different situation, and if the thread was "Soviet Russia: A Glimpse of America's Future", we could discuss that, but a scenario in which Blacks end up taking control of the US is too absurd to consider.

Seriously? That is a right wing enemy of the people op[inion.

A government of men, not laws.

Lol these countries are DEAD. The population is half of what it was at the end of the Soviet Union. They've destroyed their industries and their currencies, they do gay parades now, and all women come to Europe to "work" as prostitutes. And all of that is because they apparently really don't like Russia. Men from these "countries" will eagerly sell their anuses for free to be daily raped by Pakistanis and will send their children to tranny camps if it meant that there will be less Russians on "their" territory.

The Blacks don't really control SA - it's still controlled by the chosenites from behind the scenes.

The middle management is all Black. The very top might be Jews, but you need a lot of people to run a state. In Western Europe, these are all childless White women; in America, they're low-grade corrupt boomers. That's not going to change anytime soon.

A factor used against whites in South Africa (and wider southern Africa) was that, at least as the blacks went about claiming, they were the indigenous peoples of that continent, thus white rule was illegitimate. This was an ironic reversal of the liberal claim of individual fungibility used to justify the deraciation of the West. A lot of white South Africans, especially Anglo-South Africans, bought into this claim of black indigeneity, I suspect largely because the universities were susceptible to Jewish and foreign influence. It just seemed 'right' to them that South Africa should be black-ruled. This made the anti-apartheid movement part of a wider anti-colonial movement and gave it impetus and traction within the Left. It was forgotten that apartheid was not strictly about 'white rule over others', rather it was meant to be white separateness.

Blacks in the United States do not have a comparable argument. There is no basis, however tenuous, for a claim of black indigeneity in North America. Furthermore, despite historical Transatlantic slavery, blacks also cannot say they are native to the United States in the same way that white Europeans can, as there has never properly been a civic basis for black 'nativeness' in North America, or really anywhere other than in one or two isolated examples of black civilisation on the African continent.

Ultimately, in my view it is up to the White Man to assert his cosmopolitan right over this entire planet everywhere non-whites are.

It's not about politics, it's about power. The fancy justifications given for it are just a smokescreen.

The real reason South Africa fell is because the left bought into decolonialization, yes. But why did they do that?

It all comes down to power.

Europe had colonies. The US did not have colonies. The USSR certainly did not have colonies.

Therefore, the USSR pushed decolonialization to weaken Europe, the US was mostly neutral, and Europe made half-hearted attempts to defend itself. But it all comes down to power, game theory, incentives, etc. Not ideology.
