Yeah it's looking pretty grim. The EPA could technically suspend the DEF requirements temporarily and just let truckers put water in the tank, or put a paperclip in the sensor plug or whatever. Of course the government won't do anything practical like that.

Around my new little town (outside of the city) I'm seeing more and more people just driving around in electric golf carts and little things like that.

This entire looming problem with fuel and transportation and whatnot is something I've thought about and cared about for years and years. My solution is the opposite of ZOGs.

ZOG wants everyone packed into smart megacities where you own nothing and are "happy" and also, are reliant on public transportation systems. This is of course, transportation slavery.

The real answer is tuk-tuk transportation. It would solve so many problems beyond just transportation costs, I don't even want to get into it here. Suffice to say, a little well-built tuk-tuk can get anyone where they need to be and move the vast majority of consumer goods at like 100 mpg. It would also be a lot more fun.

You might find this article of interest. I posted it a few days ago. NO diesel machine can run without DEF, due to some retarded change they made a few years ago for the "environment". Only problem is, we stopped making the urea for the DEF for environmental reasons, and started importing it from Russia and China. I guess that was a mistake... or was it all part of the plan?

I just want to clarify this. The engines can run without DEF just fine, although an EFI computer sensor circuit might need to be bypassed. Also diesel engines made before 2010 don't have to use it at all. It's just a regulation, a legal requirement, not a mechanical need.

*edit to add* so these "leaders" of our countries will make us starve or suffer over a trite regulation. There literally is no actual need for DEF in order to move goods around with diesel transport trucks. All they need is low-quality diesel fuel.
