Large- scale NATO exercises Defender Europe 2022, which started in Poland in early May, are developing according to an "unusual" scenario. According to Polish military expert Michal Fischer , the maneuvers that the soldiers practice are more like "offensive" rather than defensive.
As Fischer emphasized, among other things, the alliance deployed its forces in relative proximity to the Kaliningrad region of Russia.
