Apparently, it wasn't the Corona that got him.

Famed broadcaster Larry King has died, his official Twitter account announced Saturday morning.

King, 87, a multiple cancer survivor, had contracted coronavirus earlier this year, but it was not reported as a cause of death.

“For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media Larry’s many thousands of interview awards and global acclaim, stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster,” read a statement from Ora Media, his most recent employer.

“Larry always viewed his interview subjects as the true stars of his programs.”

The former CNN interviewer died at Cedars-Sinai medical center in Los Angeles.

In an appearance on CNN's Larry King Live last Friday, Brando said he was angry with some Jewish film-makers for not showing more sensitivity in portraying minority groups in a negative fashion while not portraying Jews in the same way.

"Hollywood is run by Jews. It's owned by Jews and they should have a greater sensitivity about the issue of people who are suffering," he said on the programme.
