I just realized so much time has passed that I bet a lot of current friends and users don't even know who Kim Dotcom is. You are correct, it's old internet, even old social media. 10's era.but he is part of the old internet people.
I have no idea who he is... Iβve heard his name on here, thatβs all though.I just realized so much time has passed that I bet a lot of current friends and users don't even know who Kim Dotcom is. You are correct, it's old internet, even old social media. 10's era.

He was rich long before this. He raced on the first couple of Gumball 3000's (won 2 of them? back when there were few celebs, just high speed risky driving). A lot of shady computer and stock stuff. Kimble, Kimpire and a bunch of other names.I still don't get what it is that he does. He founded MEGA, but that got shut down almost as quickly as it started
I wrecked the following cars:
Mercedes Benz S500 (4)
Mercedes Benz S320 (3)
BMW 750iL (1)
AMG E50 (2) + (1, which I wasnt driving at the Gumball 2001)
Brabus EV12 (1)
Brabus S58 (Megacar) (2)
Never heard of gimbal.... looks fun, I thought I always had fast cars, then I got my 911 turbo, itβs on a whole other level but people on the road think your crazy but these cars can handle it.... Itβs like the other cars are standing still, I have gt3 breaks, bigger turbos, tune and bolt ons, you get light headed when getting on it.He was rich long before this. In May 2003 during the 2003 Gumball 3000, a driver in a Koenigsegg CC8S was pulled over by police after being tracked going 242 MPH in 75 MPH zone.
How are they not in jail ? I only take mine out once every couple months because itβs hard to obey traffic laws and I donβt want to lose my DL, pay fines or worst case wreck...
Money talks, speeders walk? How are they not in jail ?
Iβve been threatened to have my car impounded over not having the correct tags on by my asshole state trooper neighbor...I keep insurance on them but donβt always register them so I dont have to pay taxes on a bunch of cars..for racing dangerously like that Iβd think they could easily impound your car.Money talks, speeders walk?
You do see some of them being pulled over every now and then, how they mostly just get fines and move on I don't know. Most drivers are not in their home country and the cops don't want the hassle? Some also outrun the cops.
In eastern-Europe, Africa and Asia, bribes probably.
Alex Roy (former record holder of NY to LA and "round Manhattan") can be seen slowing for radars here in the 2nd US race, SF to Miami.
