Escaped True Master
Well said. The last time I listened to one of butt-hole Burr's podcasts, and this was years ago, he was attacking racists and Nazis. Such courage! Speaking truth to power. He really put his career on the line that time. Total whore.
Yep. After 2016 it was over for him. He used to use his black wife as a shield so he could say "nigger" to an all black crowd (funny), and now he cries about racism and Trump.

I remember on election night he was part of a livestream with a bunch of other comedians following the election coverage. He was ambivalent about the whole thing, and was giving the others a hard time for all the kvetching once Trump started to win. Here's the first clip I found in a search. The whole stream might be somewhere, it's really long:

And he used to do all those jokes about women, basically saying they deserve to be beaten. Sometime in 2017 he totally jumped the shark. Before then even (I remember him saying how he softened up his routine intentionally because he "sounded like I needed a hug" around the time of his fourth special), but I specifically remember one of his podcasts from 2017 (possibly post charlottesville) where he did this whole disavowal routine, "wow that trump is going to far with the racism, oy vey" (I think he cited his black wife for his newfound convictions). All after getting big for being an edgy, "antiSJW", working man's comic, doing the psuedo schizo "muh illuminati" routine etc.

Maybe a year after I tuned out of his podcast, I was recommended a ten minute clip on youtube. It starts out near the beginning with him pronouncing some spanish word like a retard on purpose and then saying "ah jeez dude, I can't fuckin pronounce that, I'm sorrryyy I'm WHITE!" I went down to the comments and the top one was "Wow another rant where Bill starts off by apologizing for being white, real nice" and all kinds of people calling him a cuck. So that was nice. Still sad to see Bill live to become a gutless worm with a black kid that's probably not his.

MacDonald was fired by the Jew Lorne Michaels because he refused to stop calling OJ Simpson a murderer. Apparently, Michaels believed it was important to try to trick the goyim into believing OJ was innocent.
The Jew Lorne Michaels got his big break in show business when he stole the all-star collection of comedy talent that Doug Kenney and Michael O'Donoghue had assembled for the National Lampoon Radio Hour. One wonders what, precisely, NBC might have done to help that groundbreaking radio comedy show fail (despite its success at producing brilliant comedy, for some reason, the Radio Hour had great difficulties in securing national advertising sponsors). That failure to sell national advertising cleared the way for Lorne Michaels to scoop up that legendary comedy team, and the rest is history. Chevy Chase was best friends with Doug Kenney which may explain why he suddenly quit SNL in the middle of its second season. One wonders if Chevy put two and two together after his year and a half working at NBC.

Fun Fact: The Jew Lorne Michaels was also the inspiration for the "Dr. Evil" character in SNL alum Mike Myers' "Austin Powers" movie franchise. Apparently, that's exactly the way Lorne Michaels talks.

Here's the thing. I can come up with a perfect formula to run society. But unless it was implemented by some theoretical perfect AI, in the need it falls into the hands of humans. Science provides understanding of a portion of reality and tools.

But what would stop someone from abusing power ? Let's say I discover a brainwashing drug that could enslave all of humanity. We see this now with the internet effectively, with the government spying on everyone and secret programs.

Without a vision, all of science is useless. Science gives you heroin and science gives you sport advice. But science won't give you morality to choose to lift 3 times a week over taking heroin.

Given that heroin makes you feel as good as possible, and assuming we found a way to make heroin high never end by rebuilding receptors in real time or something, what's to stop people from just doing that ?

Without a vision of life, without a goal, without a purpose all of science is useless.

Moreover, scientists are people. We will always have obstacles in the form of human nature when it comes to impartial observation and also, even smart people have to trust some of the research because no one can realistically test every single science paper, and then test the institute that tested the science paper and so on.

Humanity needs vision. Science can only help realize a vision, it cannot provide vision by itself.

That's why God should come first. Without that animating spirit making humans want to use science to reach greatness (and everything else like art too) instead of just coming up with new forms of heroin, you get what we see now.

Science is not the enemy, and it can be a tool of good. But science as a God is the worst and most banal form of Satanism.
Where have you been, Mr. RedPill? It's good to see you. ☺

Surprised no one posted this gem yet! Here's ol' Normie calling Bill Clinton a murderer on live TV:

To echo several people in this thread, I can't remember the last time I cared about a celebrity dying, but with Norm it's different. I was so looking forward to the ensuing decades, where the senile act he has been perfecting since his mid-40s blended into actual senility and incoherence, to the point that no one could tell the difference. Glad to see him memorialized here, as well as on /pol/.

Also, his book can be found on the internet. I'm reading it now, and it's pretty brilliant. It's only a memoir in the loosest sense of the word. Kind of Fear and Loathing vibe, with lots of rape and morphine, plus the occasional glimmer of folksy wisdom. Worth a read, especially if you were a devotee.

If it were two kikes in the joke they'd be complaining. For instance in the rabbi's joke about the Gentile buying a suit, the Gentile says "fine, I'll buy it". If it were a jew, he'd be complaining and trying to jew the price down.

Aside from being funny as hell, Norm was clearly quite a reflective thinker with a degree of humility that suggests he spent a lot of time pondering the larger questions and appreciated just how much is unknown to us and, especially, how much is unknowable by us. I think that is what I find most off putting in the IFLS! crowd, their smug deification of the human mind, as though it has never occurred to them that the material universe we inhabit just might not be the totality of all that there is.

I am embarrassed that I was ever sort of one of those adherents of Scientism (big S, and in contrast to science) who thought I was very clever with little gotchas like "If the entire Earth was completely flooded then where did all that water go?" I had, at that time, never even considered that maybe the Architect of the entire universe works outside of our material understanding of things, that He can make water disappear, circle the square, hit the unmovable object with the unstoppable projectile, and while we're at it He can divide by zero too. Maybe there's a lot more than the material universe appreciable by our limited perceptions.

But maturity and humility are required to reevaluate your assumptions like that, and I guess that's why so many of the IFLS! people just stay smug and self-satisfied.

I'm not anti-science or anti-reason. I believe it's an intellectual mechanism for perceiving and comprehending the way our material reality works, but I believe there is much more in Creation than that, so completely unknowable by our senses and intellect that we merely exclaim our human limitations when we have the audacity to be dismissive of it.

RIP. Sorry I didn't appreciate this guy more when he was alive. I remember him from his SNL days. The OJ and Hillary bits were hilarious, and he was hated for them. Didn't really follow him much after that, but I'm looking at old videos of him the last few days. The White House Correspondents dinner is probably one of the best.
