great game, I got the Pirate version, including all add-ons, really good game though, may consider buying it for 9.99.-
what you say?
yeah, the game is really good, whats not so good is that it includes a Lesbian, a gay Marxist and his transgender Captain, and the romanceable character looks a bit like Rachel Madcow. But otherwise really great game. I'd buy Dragon Age : Origins as well, but not on sale right now.
Have you played origins, it's really good as well.

GOG has a special SNK sale:

The input skill ceiling barrier on these SNK arcade fighters might as well be latin to modern gamers. I have never played a harder game than KOF13.

Nioh is a solid game. Challenging, and requires skill. The complete edition may be worth it.
I finally played it Yesterday. It's not bad, it also reminds me of Dark Souls which is what I heard. I have seen people refer to the Nioh and Nioh 2 as a Walmart version of Sekiro Shadows Die Twice.

It's normally $50 on Steam despite being several years old now and not a game I heard a lot about back in 2017. This kind of game is something I would pick up in a sale, that's just me personally.

Also anyone who decides to play it on PC you might want to use a controller, like an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller. The button maps for the menus are in controller buttons and D-pad only. No PC keys or anything. I am going to assume it's the same way in the game. It's another one of those lazy ports from a Japanese developer. The original Dark Souls port on the PC was the same way but it come with a bunch of other bugs like stuff in the game being tied to frame rate. In the PC port of Dark Souls climbing ladders was tied to the frame rate. Playing the game over 30fps would break a lot of things in game. From what I heard armor and weapons would wear out quicker at frame rates over 30. There were some fan made fixes for this stuff though. But it's annoying to have to fix a game so you can play it. It's not like it was some 20 year old game. Plus tying in game stuff to the frame rate is just bad design.

I just hope Nioh isn't the same way. I haven't noticed anything funny yet. There is a frame cap in the options menu and 60 is as high as it goes. So it looks like anything over 60 might screw with the game. The cap wouldn't be there for no reason. My monitor's refresh rate is 60 so it doesn't matter to me.

Tales of Maj'Eyal is one of my top 10 favorite games ever.
That game makes me rage, I've attempted it five times, and each time it's great up until the point that some unseen entity teleports me into the middle of a pack of enemies or some parallel hell dimension where I burn to death before I understand what is going on.

It's a roguelike, you're supposed to die a lot before you get the hang of it...
Unfortunately I'm spoiled by modern roguelikes like FTL where each run is only a few hours. My latest run with ToME was almost 25 hours before I died. And I've only unlocked a tiny fraction of the content. I wish I had more time to play, but as it stands the game just seems completely impenetrable to me.

So the Steam summer sale has been going on for a few days. It started the 24th and will go on till July 8th. I bought a few games for myself and my nephews. The summer sale discounts aren't that great and I have no games I really want. I will wait for the Christmas sale. They usually have better discounts then. But I gifted one Pyschonauts to one of my nephews and the other got the definite edition of MGS GZ and 5.

I got the HD remasters of Grandia 1 and 2, Children of Morta, We Happy Few and all the DLC.

Also what I think is the best purchase was Ryse: Son of Rome. It's a pretty good game and it looks good as well, even in 2021. It's only about 5 or 6 hours long. It's linear and not open world. You basically just go from one end of the level to the next killing people. The violence is also pretty brutal. I don't think there is any secrets or collectables either. It's just go from point A to B as a bad ass Roman soldier and slaughter enemies. The story is also pretty good, it's a basic revenge plot. I haven't gotten that far into the game but I haven't seen anyone saying the game has SJW cancer in it.

The best part is it's only $2.49 on Steam. If you have a PC that can handle it cause it is a Cryengine game after all. Maybe turn the settings down some.

Ryse is a good deal. It's an action game with really nice graphics for less than $3.

I wanted to play Heretic and Hexen a couple of days ago. I've played Heretic 2, but I hadn't heard of Hexen until I searched for Heretic on the web two days ago.

Technically not on sale, but this little great game is going to leave Early Access very soon. I'd recommend getting it before the price goes up. It's a really fun wargame that can be played without getting too much invested in it. I also own the predecessor, "Barbarossa", but I think "Stalingrad" is a big improvement and I already put way more hours into it than into "Barbarossa".

It's pretty abstract, tho. It has nothing to do with Hearts of Iron, etc.

EDIT: Apparently the price has already gone up. I recall buying it for 8.99€. But 12.99€ is still a good price for such a great game.

So I was watching some videos on YouTube about must have PS Vita games and a few games grabbed my attention. One of them being Unit 13. It's a third person shooter that actually looks pretty good. It was a launch game for the Vita. So I went to GameStop's site and it was $15 but it was out of stock. So I checked Lukie Games and it was like $30 there. Being a PC gamer I find it hard to pay $30 for game that's nearly a decade old. I think it's 8 years old now. So I ended up going to eBay where I found it for like $18.

I know it's not a game sale, but if anyone wants to pick up any Vita games or collect them you should start now cause the prices are going up. Apparently the nerd fag and man child collectors have gotten to the Vita as well. Also it doesn't help that YouTube is basically being spammed with must have Vita game videos.

Just figured I would throw that out there.

Also Sony decided not to close down the PS3 and PS Vita stores. The PSP store is closed though. You can't buy PSP games for your Vita or PS3. But you can still buy PS Vita games digitally. But given that Sony was just about to shutdown the store for the Vita I don't think that would be a wise move. I would say Sony announcing they were going to shutdown the Vita store caused some people to run out and buy physical Vita games.

admitted, the game is damn hard. it's a racing SIM.
I bought it anyway, but damn it's hard to drive with a Gamepad and not die in every corner.
probably better you guys play an Arcade Racing game.
This game is even harder to play than Gran Turismo on Playstation, which is pretty easy to learn in a few laps...

So I heard about this really good game through one of game review channels I watch. It's a mod using GZDoom. It's called Blade of Agony and it's free, totally free. You don't need anything to play it. You just download it, install and start playing. It's a Wolfenstein game. It's also pretty hard so don't jump into it thinking it will be easy just cause it's mod. It's like they took ideas from the old good Wolfenstein games and put them into a retro looking game. But the stuff they manage to do with GZDoom is pretty amazing.

Like I said, it's 100% free and you just download it and play it. It comes in a zip file so you will have to extract it some where. I just put a fold on my desktop called Blade of Agony and extracted it there. From what I played I didn't see any SJW BS in the game so far.

update for Assetto Corso Competizione

ok, if you get a better car, maybe a Honda NSX GTR3 Evo for the Single Player Campaign, the game becomes easier, i.e. easier not to die in every corner. I like it, playing with an Xbox360 controller is definitely not ideal, but it is manageable and learning to drive better is a nice challenge.
when I have finished single player I will try online racing.

if you wanna play like the best you probably should get a Racing Wheel, which I don't want to, cause of space, and because I have more important stuff to save my money for. It's still a fun game with Controller though.

here's a fun video by Sir Foch,

Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is free on Steam. It's a Western ARPG based on Greek mythology. It's from the early 2000's so it should play on just about any PC. It's also pretty good. Think of it as a Diablo clone.

Did I mention it's 100% free? Cause it's free.

This looked interesting but upon further investigation it seems v3.1 is censored. You want v3.0 for the Master race mode (yes, really) and various other things.

Thanks.

I was looking for the uncensored version of this cause I heard about the censorship. But I downloaded the censored versions and saw nothing wrong with it so I figured it was ok.

I read over the stuff that was censored and I saw something about a female boss's tits popping out after she dies and someone put a picture of "piper Perri" in the game some where and I had to look up who the fuck that is and turns out it's some porn whore. lol

Otherwise it's just censoring the holocaust shit out, some anti-Semitic German propaganda posters and shit like that. If anything it would make it easier for me to play cause I don't need to hear about all that holohoax shit. It's funny cause the censorship all these faggots scream for has the opposite reaction. I mean I can just suffer through all the holohoax shit myself but some people who are absolutely don't want to hear about it would be better off with the uncensored version. That shit gets talked about way too fucking much. You could actually game in peace.

But I will run with the uncensored version. At least both versions are free so you don't have to give the cuck faggots any money.
