I dare anyone to drive around a major city with their plates taped over and see how long they make it.

Depends on how long of time and for what distance. On the other hand, it would be possible to drive to a location near your rally point from a secluded alleyway with taped over plates - disgorge your passengers - then quickly return to another holding point and wait there until you are called on your cell-phone to arrive at another, different, pickup point. Then drive to a prearranged point - stop - jump out and tear off the tape over the plate - then race off again. Done right, it's very possible to get away with this.

Instead, I will just feel sad about how stupid people are. The one group that they don't go after following Charlottesville is the one James Fields was a member of. Right wingers are mostly stupider than mask faggots, frankly.

No one is going to join the group anyway, and I don't think it is actually possible to join it. We've had X number of reports of people who contacted them and got hour long interrogations and then were denied.

James fields was not a member of Vanguard America, he was a friend of two members who invited him and loaned him one of those shield things. Those 2 guys were then asked to leave the group because of what happened and from what I understand they did. Then there was a split between the Thomas Kid and the leader of the group at the time, and the membership parted between the two leaders, Thomas had to change to "Patriot Front" because the other guy owned the name "Vanguard America" supposedly.
