Nick going off on my jam.

Loyalty. It really is the most important virtue. Loyalty to God, Loyalty to your family, and Loyalty to your friends.

I've personally seen what can be accomplished with a small group of loyal friends, that expanded to a nation truly has awesome potential.

Without Loyalty, we are individuals prime to be torn apart.

Nick says PS2 was the best console. This is the only based opinion. PS1 was also great, but the PS2 is backwards compatible, so you get both with the PS2.

Arguably the PS3 is the real greatest console of all time, because the first gen PS3 was truly backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 discs. And the PS3 had some bangers of its own. GTA IV and V were released on the PS3.

When it comes to handhelds, PSP is definitely the GOAT. Everyone talks about the DS, but fuck that and Nintendo tbh. Pokemon was dead when I was in middle school. Mario is corny. I'd rather play Genesis era Sonic. For like 15 years Nintendo had the handheld market cornered with Gameboy variants (basically miniaturized NES/SNESs). Then, Sony comes out of nowhere with damn near a PS2 that fits in your pocket. This was before smartphones. A slim, 16:9 flatscreen multimedia device (capable of playing movies and music) with gaming power rivaling the current gen consoles was pretty futuristic in 2005. It's a shame that it was handicapped by a lack of games, and the limitation of a single analog stick. The PSP was way ahead of its time.

he definitely seems like he was spooked after the Mr.Girl banning.
It's not even the banning, it's Big Tech actually going on his show and being pro flagging.

Big Tech could have said "oh, it was late, I was drinking, I wasn't really trying to do that, I don't believe in that" and it would have been fine. But he doubled down and said he thinks he can control the internet by doing mass flaggings, and he wants everyone he disagrees with banned. It was obvious that flagging Mr. Girl was related to his interactions with Nick, so Destiny's position makes sense.

That said - he was also mass-flagging Keffals, and not in some previous age when he had different values and principles, so I think we basically determined this is just an excuse. It's a pretty valid excuse, because Big Tech is a cancer, but the bigger issue is likely Destiny thinking he's going to get banned from YouTube for interacting with Nick. It's possible he just doesn't want to interact with Nick because he is getting beaten in debates, but I kind of doubt it. I think he would still do third party streams. I don't think he would even be aware of losing followers of his ideology as long as his numbers were going up, and Nick clearly drives up the numbers. It appears, considering everything, that he's worried about losing his own channel.

Anyway, we've been all the way through this topic, and it is what it is. Regardless of the reason, Destiny has made a decision, and there's no way to change his mind, or influence him in any way.

By the way, is Nick wearing a Peaky Blinders hat in that screen? Or a backwards baseball cap? Is that just distortion?

I think he should start going on his show in a Peaky Blinders hat.

If I am being charitable, I think it's more about the lines of attack. Flagging Keffals is not of our concern. We don't give a fuck about that dude. Mr. Girl was Destiny's friend, and (he "thinks") Nick got him banned. He didn't attack one of our guys and attempt to get them banned so it's not quite analogous.

However, it is clear that he got a LOT of pushback from his community, and Sneako got struck around that same timeframe. I'd venture it's far more likely that he just thought "It's just not worth it" than any principled stance on deplatforming his friends. He is far too smart to actually think that we are the sole reason that Mr.Girl got banned.

Regardless of the reason, Destiny has made a decision, and there's no way to change his mind, or influence him in any way.
Yea, I'm censoring out Nick's response to this from tonight's show and uploading it. I know some DGGers are subbed to my channel and they will repost it to their sub and Destiny will likely react to it tomorrow, so we will see what happens. (He may actually avoid responding to it. He has been getting ~15k viewers because of this latest drama bullshit going on involving twitch gambling and this fake sexual assault crap that everyone and their mom thinks is a big deal. If his viewers are that high tomorrow, there is a chance he will hold off on reacting to Nick in front of that big of an audience)

edit: Here is the video of Nick's response if anyone is interested

I don't think it's a PB hat, but I could be wrong. I inherited one from my grandfather, they're floppier than whatever that seems to be.

Yeah, that was the other great gift from 150 viewer streamer Big Tech: his report mob promotion gave credence to the claim that cozy people were mass-flagging Sneako to try to get him to join cozy.

Bloody hell.

I would just listen to the whole show, but the podcast is lagging for like 48 hours and cozy has been choppy for like two weeks.

Or is this from the Sneako and Destiny stream?

I'm not signing up to YouTube. Apparently, they are just auto-blocking anything that says the f-word, which is crazy because they've been allowed to say the f-word before 10 o'clock on network TV now for like 15 years. I remember when Bono said it at some awards ceremony and it was ruled "not offensive." Everyone says the f-word, it's vulgar but it's just a part of current year culture. Furthermore, children are a lot more likely to sign up for a YouTube account than adults, so they are therefore more likely to see f-word content than I am. This is just a way to shut down normal people talking.

Do you have an older Google account you never use? Any Google account can be used to sign in to youtube and used to circumvent the age verification. You can register over on Twitter using a preexisting google account too btw, they've changed that within the last year or so. You dont have to give them a phone number to make a new account anymore, though if you get locked out they will demand you add a number to your info so they can text you a number to enter to unlock the account.

Yeah but Duster is the one indie band who actually released a decent album this year. So liking them does get you a long way.

But Trav has clearly become deranged. He has the initial claim of flagging people, which is whatever - it's a valid thing to talk about. I don't blame Nick, and don't think it's a big deal either way, but it's something, at least. But he's now just saying goofy shit and going full-on.

I don't know why this happens. It mostly happens with Ralph, actually. But it happens a fair amount with Nick too. I've had readers turn against me and post stupid, whiny bullshit, but these guys take it to another level. It can't ever be "alright, whatever dude - I'm out." It always turns into this massive emotional hysterical thing.

I've never actually tuned into those Twitter spaces before. Do they involve much talking over each other? Or even just multiple people having a conversation, or is it just Nick talking? Because if it's any of the former, then telegram would be what the Order of Solomon's Temple used to refer to as diharea poobarf.
They are some of the best NJF content.
Potsticker has deposited each one in the cat box.
You should listen to some.
Search "Twitter Space" in this thread by his username, and they should all be there.

This β€˜meme warfare’ meme is starting to pop back up again, but it’s coming from everyone but true memers. I guess they (correctly) anticipate that the next election is gonna kick off a whole new wave and they’re starting the process during the midterms of co-opting the concept ahead of the Big Game.

Good luck with that...

This exactly. I'm not bashing BT because he only has 150 viewers.. but 150 viewers just isn't enough to report mob with, so that in and of itself proves it wasn't groypers doing it since he was the only one promoting it, however him being on cozy saying this stuff while claiming to be a groyper does lend credit to the conspiracy theory that groypers are behind every banning on youtube. And I'm not even bashing him for promoting reporting people's channels either, but it wasn't politic to try to report mob Destiny's pedo friend. Either way it seems like it was an excuse anyway so it would have happened regardless, and it's already done so hey whatever.

Mr. Girl focusing on how or who got him banned instead of why he got banned is like indicting Julian Assange for leaking info instead of the people who got exposed as nefarious monsters.

I am not taking Destiny at his word on this. He can get on stream and say over and over again that he is some free speech advocate. He can say he whatever he wants but we know better. Did Susan Wojcicki give Destiny a call and say it was either his YouTube channel or Nick? How do we know that didn't happen? Because Destiny is such a stand-up guy and doesn't lie?

if Destiny is pushing us out it is what it is. we can't be put in such a humiliating position that we would have to beg a dick sucking cuck to let us talk on YouTube. it was bad enough when Nick got put in time-out by Sneako for saying the n-word. I like Sneako but something about that nigger crying when Nick said the word made all my racism spill out. I was just watching it passively and enjoying until that happened then I started yelling "the n-word" so loud at my TV that it woke my neighborhood. Nick getting admonished by that black was almost too much. This made-up Destiny story about Mr. Girl getting banned definitely crossed the line. There is no way to deny Destiny's story and there is no way for us to reverse the ban. So there is nothing left to do except beg and plead that he lets Nick back on, which is unacceptable.

Big Tech is a scapegoat. The stumbling block is Nick’s complete lack of humility when approaching this subject.

I don’t know why people are having such difficulty grasping this not-at-all-hard-to-understand concept.

Let’s go through the sequence of events. Understanding the chronology is important.

1. Late April, Nick does his debate with Metokur where he goes to the mat for for his right to flag people. There is no ambiguity to what his position. He even defends false DMCA flagging which is illegal. He makes defense of flagging a specific person. The debate is watched by +10,000 people. We’ll call this POINT A.

2. For the next week, the debate is endlessly analyzed and dissected across the Internet. Many large content creators during this time did analysis’ of the debate. During this period, Nick continues to reiterate his pro-flagging position in feuds with Styx and Rekeita.

3. The controversy eventually dies down and gets ultimately drowned out by the even more catastrophic Jaden arc.

4. Several months pass.

5. Big Tech tells his audience to flag Mr. Girl.

6. Big Tech appears on Destiny and makes his pro flagging arguments. Nick comes in later to tard wrangle.

7. The next day, Nick goes on Telegram and β€œclarifies” his position that he was against flagging. It was only AFTER it appeared that his relationship with Destiny appeared threatened that he did this. We will call the POINT B.

Here is the point that Destiny was desperately trying to get Nick to acknowledge and that Nick was desperately pretending not to understand:
In between Point A and Point B, NO ONE (not Big Tech, not Destiny, not Mr. Girl, not any of the Groypers, not any of the Groypers’ enemies) had any reason to believe that Nick’s position on flagging was anything other than what he said it was during the Metokur debate.

That is what makes Nick’s β€œclarification” a retcon. He expects his new anti-flagging position to apply retroactively, for the time period in between Point A and Point B. That’s not β€œclarifying”. That’s retconning and that’s not how this sort of thing work.

That is also why Big Tech is a scapegoat. When Big Tech told his audience to flag Mr. Girl, he had no reason to believe that Nick’s position on flagging was anything other than what he said it was during the Metokur debate. You could say even if that were the case, Big Tech still should have been smart enough to know that a friend of Destiny would be an exception to the rule. But the fact is that when Big Tech went on Destiny’s stream, he gave what he believe was the official AF position on flagging. He was repeating Nick’s arguments from five months ago.

If you watch the last Nick-Destiny encounter, Destiny spends half the debate trying to get Nick to acknowledge this very easy to understand concept and Nick spends half the debate pretending to not understand it. He keeps coming back with β€œI said I’m against flagging. I said I would ban any Groypers caught flagging”. But WHEN did he say that?
Chronology is the key factor here. Only after Nick was facing the possibility of negative consequences for holding his previous position did he change it. That is why Destiny was so unmoved by any of Nick’s arguments. Nick was playing dumb and came off like he was gaslighting because he was. And it just dug his hole deeper.

I understand why Nick is refusing to acknowledge this but I don’t know why the people on this board are having such a hard time understanding it.

Nick laughing at people for crying about being DMCA'd after these goons literally flew over an ocean to physically assault Ralph is not the same as being pro flagging. I don't ever remember Nick saying he was pro flagging, ever. But I honestly can't remember at this point, and I just I don't care. I'm going to assume you're just being a faggot as usual.

It's because those bullet points are the only events that are top of mind for you. I've been watching Nick for years and Nick has virtually always been against mass reporting, and as I keep trying to remind you when it comes to life ruination shit, he said that DMCA's are 'fair play' not that he used or encouraged them.

You ignoring his entire breadth of work and distilling it down to a list of moments, that seem to be curated by people that hate us and show no willingness to seek out what Nick's actual views are, is precisely why we are in disagreement.
